Cleo started working in television and co-starred in The Kenny Everett Show on BBC1. This was the number one rated comedy series in the UK and ran for eight years. She has worked between the U.K. and the U.S. starring in many TV shows such as the comedy series “Assaulted Nuts” for Ch4 and HBO.

She co-starred in U.S. series “The Highlander” with Adrian Paul and Roger Daltrey and co-starred in the detective series “Tropical Heat” for NBC. Cleo’s one woman show in Los Angeles at Carlos and Charlies, on Sunset Blvd. was a sell-out hit with star studded audiences.

Cleo sang a duet with Marc Almond live at the Royal Albert Hall for his “12 Years of Tears Tour” filmed for the BBC and released on DVD. Cleo wrote and performed her comedy one woman show Minky (Jackie O’s love child) in Soho. She wrote her biography entitled “Bananas Forever” covering her years with Kenny Everett.

Cleo also produced the hit show “The Seven Year Itch” at the Queen’s Theatre in London’s West End, starring Daryl Hannah and directed by Michael Radford (Il Postino, White Mischief, Al Pacino’s- Merchant of Venice).

Cleo produced and presented the hit TV series “Cleo Worldwide” for Channel 5. Her guest stars included Neil Morrissey, Denise Van Outen, Terry Venables, Julian Clary, Tessa Dahl, Nicky Haslam and Lord Glenconner, Judith Chalmers etc. She was Executive Producer of the Comic Strip, Christmas hit Comedy film ‘Sex Actually’ for Channel 4, starring Rik Mayall and Sheridan Smith.

Cleo starred as herself in Channel 4, Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 along with Jermaine Jackson and Ken Russell. She also competed in Britain’s Best Celebrity Chef in March 2009 she won over the judges and audience with her Mexican cooking and Margaritas. She has also done several travel special reports for This Morning.

Today Cleo is deemed the most influential woman in the Tequila industry and is President of The Tequila Society. In 2009 she travelled to Mexico where was recognised with a prestigious award presented by the CNIT (the official governing body for the tequila industry). Cleo is launching her own brand of tequila in January 2012.

Cleo has recently completed filming Celebrity Come Dine With Me for Channel Four which is transmitting early October 2011.
